- I'm afraid not bear, I pay my taxes. Take your dogwhistle routine somewhere else. And that isn't socialism, its economic fact. Taking $5 from a millionaire isn't noticable, but taking it from someone that make minimum wage is a big difference.

- So some one that makes $18,000/year should pay 30%? that would lower their earnings to $12,600. There is a huge difference if you are living paycheck to paycheck. Go ahead and do it, see how many people turn to crime to support themselves.

- There is a strong middle class here because people are paid fair wages because of union representation. You think minimum wage is middle class? Maybe in places where they don't believe the Civil War ever ended, but not in the real world.
